Most of my drawings, paintings and collages are abstracts expressing what I am thinking or feeling or what is surfacing from my unconscious mind in the moment. The paper cut-outs of Henri Matisse have been a great inspiration to me. In my color and black and white digital and traditional photography, I am attracted to many subjects: flowers, animals, people, nature, landscapes, architechture, objects and events. My goal is to capture the essence or spirit of what is present.
